A little birdie just told me that the licensing cost of the forum software we use (vBulletin) is going to treble after August when it enters version 4. Well, actually it's more like a giant vulture screaming it out thanks to some leaked internal documents.
What this means is that I continue working on recoding the site until there is an official announcement. As nice as this software is, $400 per annum is ridiculous.
When we started this site (under the name Hairy Jedi), I wrote it using
SMF, so I'll most likely go back to that.
Anyway, keep those 'wonderful' ideas coming in. You've heard of the infinite monkey theorem, right?
